Project Manager Vacancy

OMEGA Solutions, a multi-award-winning leading Net Zero engineering, training and data management consultancy is growing. We have an exciting vacancy for a Project Manager.

In less than two-years we have established a big presence in the retail sector, our customers include Costco, Coop, Walmart, ASDA and Iceland. We are helping our customers shape their low carbon technology transition; it is an exciting time to join our dynamic team!

Requirements

  • A building services engineering background and health & safety knowledge (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH) is desirable, though you will learn from some of the best minds in the business.
  • A confident and positive can-do attitude that appreciates variety in day-to-day workload is essential; we are all about getting the job done, and not prescriptive role requirements. Workplace flexibility will be provided, though regular working our Cross Hills office will be required; to learn about the business, and to ensure professional development is continuous.
  • The ability to interpret customer specifications and what “good” looks like is a must. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for visiting customer sites, auditing works for third party contractors; confidence to relay concerns and manage the resolution of snags/defects is essential.
  • Understanding projects, specifically project costs is required – though training will be provided. To provide our customers with best value, when we work as their agent, costs provided by third parties, where necessary must be challenged.
  • A thirst to learn about building services engineering technologies, including, cooling, heating, and ventilation. Confidence to challenge the norm and embrace new, low carbon engineering.
  • IT proficiency. The role will require a good standard in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • A full UK driving licence is required for the role as travel will play a big part.
  • A minimum of three years’ working experience.
