RAC Cooing Industry Awards Success!

What a night! The Cooling Awards did not disappoint.

Kicking off proceedings was Neil Merrett who honoured the late, great Chris Dodman. An inspiration to many and a true gentleman. Rest in peace Chris – you will be missed.

Following a wonderful 3-course meal, the awards ceremony began to much excitement and fanfare! We enjoyed a hugely successful evening and would like to thank all of our customers and colleagues for making OMEGA Solutions the business that it is.

We are beyond proud of our contribution and recognition for supporting the Coop in their six-pillar strategy that collected the Environmental Collaboration and Retail Project of the Year awards respectively. Well done to Ian Dickinson, john Bradshaw, Anna Burbidge, Nick Cairns, Elin Pheasant, Ashleigh Jeffers MCIPS and the awesome teams at City Building Engineering Services (CBES), Climate Energy Group, Copeland, EPTA UK, ESP, isentra and Vaillant UK is amazing to know that we are playing such an important role in the convenience sector’ transition to Net Zero.

Alongside Mike Marsden and Copeland, we were delighted to win the Refrigeration Product of the Year for our RADICal app. Free-to-use, RADICal projects the CAPEX, OPEX and emissions of three future-proof refrigeration and heating technologies for food retailers. Though our Technical Director Nabil Cook and Technical Manager Akhil Dev could not attend the awards, the effort that you both put into such a unique and original tool has been exceptional. Well-done guys!

Completing our success, we also won the Small Company Achievement of the Year award. For a business that is still in its infancy, to be recognised for the impact that we are demonstrating in the transition to Net Zero, training and IoT data management is truly amazing. Our high-flying Technical Manager Chris Griffiths M.Inst.R MIET and newcomer to our team, Operations & Project Manager Lizz Addy collected the award. As with all our team, Chris and Lizz have been instrumental in making OMEGA Solutions the Small Company of the Year!

Signing off, we would like to thank our respective hosts; ISD and Copeland, and congratulate all other award winners and finalists and latterly thank EMAP for yet another well organised and fantastic evening.
